Tree Plantation Campaign is among the most significance projects of the Foundation. For the conservation of the Mother Nature we pledge to plant 10 million plants in the coming years. Plant 10 Million Trees campaign is a major forest restoration program. This is going to slow the connected crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. We can make lots of changes through the plantation in a lifetime, including the lap of the mother earth we live on.
A tree provides us with fresh air and oxygen without which the existence of life on earth becomes impossible. We need to do more tree plantation campaigns as trees not only provide with oxygen but also play an essential role in the ecology. Ecological imbalance can cause flood, drought and various other natural calamities that can lead to the destruction of life.
A report reveals that a human consumes about 550 liters of pure oxygen per day. Based on this environment survey, we found out that the average cost of a 2.75-liter portable oxygen cylinder is Rs. 6,500. At this rate, a human consumes worth about Rs. 13 lakhs of oxygen per day. Trees help to get the oxygen worth 30 billion in a life span of an average 65 years. We plan to conduct green walk every month to keep an eye on the plants and ensure the quality and survival which will lead to high survival ratio gradually.
